Many Hydra events operate in the security environment and it is difficult to describe the content of these exercises on an open forum. Please feel free to contact the Foundation to find out more
Constant media coverage of terrorist attacks, hostage incidents, mass shootings, crowd violence and other forms of widespread conflict heighten awareness of the security threats constantly posed to countries across the world. In managing such threats there are two main issues of concern: how to prevent these incidents from occurring and, where they do occur, how to manage them in a manner that ensures that both risk to lives and economic costs are minimised.
The Foundation’s projects focus on researching a range of factors from the individuals involved in planning or committing acts of terrorism and also the professionals who prevent, manage and respond to such acts.
